Yoga BS

“I have tried yoga and I hate it!” I am calling BS on that. You haven’t tried yoga. You tried an overcrowded, choreographed and way too hot fitness class. You left frustrated because it looks like everyone knows what to do besides you and irritated because you are sandwiched between a person who you can literally feel their breath and someone who you think you just felt their sweat. No wonder you hated it.
Yoga is an individual, moving to only your breath and heating up with your body practice. You should feel peaceful and have a sense of clarity when you leave.

Can You Accept?

This past week I got to listen to two people tell me how happy they are to come to me and how excited they are to learn how to be healthy. They had huge smiles on their faces. Normally people tell me how unhappy they are that they have to come to me. They are apprehensive that they will ever be happy with their body. They are reluctant to start a healthier lifestyle. 
How can the same experience of hiring a trainer have two different reactions? Acceptance – if you can accept where you are the path to move forward is smoother, simpler and easier. The people that fight their present state, obsessing about their past, stuck in the “should have”, “would have”, “could have” zone or filled their space with excuses, those individuals will struggle.

No Membership Required

This is for everyone who has a gym, pilates, yoga, etc membership AND –
1) Doesn’t use it.
2)Tried to end it and was given a hard time.
3) Wants to end it but knows it’s going to be a pain.
At LisaFIT, there are no memberships or sign up fees or cancelation charges. Your membership is your life. Your sign up was when you were born. Your cancelation will be when it’s over. Think about it – it just makes sense.

Celery-Mein
