Get your children exercising. Here are a few tips: Walk to your frozen yogurt store and make sure to avoid toppings. Encourage them to jump up and grab leaves on trees. Challenge children to hop on one foot while going from car to store. Ask them to leap over sidewalk cracks. Get kids to hold stretches while watching television. One of my favorites is to use push ups and jump squats as “time out” moments. Incorporate movement into your day and your children will do the same.
