I am always saying, “Suck your belly button in” and clients automatically do it.  A few seconds later I say it again, “Suck your belly button in”.  I used to think people forgot to do it.  I used to think it was purely postural.  I now realize that there are other factors.

It is challenging to keep the belly button sucked in.  It takes work to stay strong in the center.  We are constantly being tried, pulled, tugged and it’s so easy to allow our center, our “core” – the internal strength within us to be compromised.

We can all be aware of our exterior strengths but its the those that withstand life’s disappointments and hardships that truly connect to the CORE of themselves.
