I call these Sloth Pull Ups because I can hang my head back (yes – still struggling with tension headaches). If you don’t want to climb onto monkey bars because of your fear of falling then just use a squat rack that has a track, meaning the bar won’t move once positioned. Place the bar about 3ft from the floor, lay under bar, cross ankles over bar and grab the bar right above lower rib cage. Lift body up while head hangs back, keeping elbows close to the body and lining elbows up right near the lower rib. I am here if you want to hang like a sloth!
