How many of you use honey?
I use it in my coffee.
I sweeten my tea.
I mix it into sauces.
I put it on wounds.
I add it to facial masks.
I spoonful it when I have a sore throat.
Honey has antioxidant properties, meaning it protects you from the bad stuff.
Honey is also known to have antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal and anti-inflammatory power. It has been used in medicine for over 5,000 years. It is moisturizing, soothing and nourishing to the skin.
I also did an experiment with my middle son who has really bad allergies. I bought local honey at the farmers market and pretty much overdosed my son in honey for about six months, prior to allergy season. That season he had little to NO allergies. It was crazy!
I am a big believer that nature does give us our medicine. Give honey a try and pretty soon you too will be saying, “Honey – I love you!”
