People seem to have this impression of me that I was athletic in school and played sports. I was the complete opposite and one of my least favorite sports was softball. My hand was too small for the glove so it kept falling off. I literally dragged the metal bat because it was so awkward and heavy for me to carry. I use to pray that the ball would never come to me in the field. I will never forget the moment the ball and bat came in contact, it shook my whole body and I was scared. I didn’t like being the one person that everyone was watching to perform. That was me then. If I let those memories define me through my adult life I would not be where I am today. I tell my clients all the time to let go of those labels that we assign to ourselves. They will only hold you back. Let go of what we used to be and become what we are suppose to be. Can you let go?
